cake fight & 21 shots

The first november weekend was the weekend to celebrate two important birthdays. Both started in Drunkbar and ended in Drogbar...seems this becomes a tradition. It a little like home for us, so why not celebrating there?!

Susanna was the first to add another year on the 4th. Her sweet 24th still crowns me the granny in our round. Anyway, that doesn't mean that I have to behave like a grown-up. Well on this evening I did a good job in hiding my age. Oh how I love cake fights. As the traditions goes on Susanna had to wear some special pants and of course a brithday hat...
Two days later Kates big day was coming up. 21!!! In Europe not really a big deal, in the states even more.
We started the day with a little shopping on Seouls Flea Market where you can find everything you probably don't want or were searching for your whole life. Antique sewing-machines, paintings, brushes, chests, statues, swords and a lot of other stuff. The Koreans had a lot of fun when we entered the "pricate corridor" where "toys and DVDs of special interest" were sold.

Later that day we had a delicate Korean BBQ before toasting the birthday girl. We made her wear some fluffy "Happy monkey" pants and drink 21 shots of kiwi and peach soju. As one can imagine it ended....cheerful!
