Me and Betti were to lazy to represent Austria, because there is just the two of us and I didn't bring my Dirndl with me.
So much the better, as I had lots of time to stroll around, taste different food, find out more about the 25 countries that were represented and talk to people from all around the world.
The Mexiacan booth had a pinata, Peru brought a guinea pig (fortunately just to pet and not to eat). Surprisingly many countries made pancakes, but with different stuffings. Denmark arranged a Lego competition...guess where I spend most of the time!
Kate and I build this awesome viking helmet and our chances to win were pretty good, until this Korean showed up and built a stunning castle. Later that day some other Koreans even distroyed our marvel. Cussedness!!!
One of my favourite booths was the Hungarian, with their Glühwein (mulled wine)...a little reminder of upcoming Christmas and home. Thanks Adam for all the refills!!
